Current processing time/turn around

Since all of our items are handmade and the high amount of orders we receive daily please allow 3 to 5 weeks for completion plus delivery time. Delivery within the U.S. takes an additional 2-3 business days, everywhere else takes an additional 2-4 weeks on average.

Rush Orders

We do offer rush orders of a one week turn around plus delivery for a small fee of $30.00. This fee is non refundable and does not include overnight shipping. Rush orders fees can not be discounted. If you are interested in placing a rush order please contact us with what product you are interested in, what color and your location.

Packaging

All fascinators are packaged within a gift box which is surrounded by protective shipping materials, within a sturdy cardboard box. We do our best to protect all of our headpieces in transit although if an item does get damaged in the post please contact us right away so we can exchange it out for you.

All domestic orders are sent via USPS priority mail (2-3 business day delivery) with tracking and confirmation. If you need an overnight option, please contact us before you place your order. Please note this time period does not include our current turn around, which can be found above.

All international orders will be sent out via USPS first class mail with no tracking number. These orders can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks on average depending on the country's customs. This time period does not include our turn around, please see above for details. International customers are responsible for custom fees and taxes. If you would like to receive tracking or a quicker shipment, please contact us for details.

Shipments and addresses

Please make sure to list the correct address at checkout. If an item is returned to us because of an outdated address you will be responsible for a second shipping charge to the new address.

We know your time is valuable and we definitely do not take that for granted! Nothing is worst then feeling ignored especially if you have questions about a certain product. If you do not hear from us within 24 hours please re send the message, we try to answer all emails within a 12 - 24 hour time frame. returns

We know it can be tough to choose a veil and/or headpiece online and because of the nature of our products we do accept unworn returns/exchanges for store credit only. All returns/exchanges must be post marked within 7 days of delivery and be in the same condition as they were sent out. All orders that are not post marked within those 7 days or has signs of being worn will not be exchangeable/returnable. To process a exchange/return for store credit, please contact us before sending back your accessory and make sure to include the invoice in the package. Once we receive the original accessory back we will process the exchange/return for store credit. You will be responsible for the shipping charge back. Lastly, all customized orders will not be exchangeable/returnable and are final sales.

We use PayPal for payments which encrypts your information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits. Your information is never stored in our servers and your credit card information is not shared with us or anyone as well. only your name and shipping address are shared with us alone for delivery of your item. Do you offer custom orders?

Yes, we love custom orders! If you are interested in placing one please contact us at contact@tessakim.com, please allow extra time/cost for customizations as well

I want a certain headpiece larger/smaller, is this possible?

Since our items are hand cut and shaped, most items can be made in a customized size. Please contact us for more information.

I want an item that is shown in a past look book although is not currently shown in your online store, can I still order it?

Yes, most of the time we can re create items that have sold out. Please e-mail us a picture of the item you are interested in and we will be happy to assist you!

Do you offer custom colors?

Yes, since many of our items are hand painted we can always customize your headpiece/veil. Please contact us with a swatch of the color you are interested in and we will see what is possible.

What attachments do you offer?

We offer wire combs, alligator clips, pin backs and headbands. Although if there is another type of attachment you would like please contact us and we can see what your possibilities are for customization.

How do I know what size/style birdcage veil to pick?

Determining what size and style birdcage veil can be a bit tricky as a lot of factors go into choosing. A few factors to keep in mind are hairstyle, body type, face shape, length of veil you want, dress style and other accessories you will be pairing with your birdcage veil. The easiest way to measure for the length of your veil is to measure from where you would like to place the comb to wear you would like the veil to hit on your face. Remember to leave a little extra room for your eyelashes and nose, we want you to be able to blink! If you have any questions about sizing, please contact us and we will be more then happy to answer any questions you may have.

Should I have my fascinator attached to a clip or comb?

We get this question pretty often and in the long run it is a personal opinion. Although having that said, we generally say to choose a alligator clip if you have fine/medium hair, straight hair or wearing your hair down or in a loose up do. We recommend a comb when you are wearing a tighter up do or have very curly/thick hair. When in doubt tho, we always recommend a clip!
